This recipe is easy to make and perfect for a cold winter night or as a game-day feast. So, gather your family and friends, and let's get cooking!

Ingredients & Toppings:

  • (1) 16 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage
  • (1) Pack of Carolina Ranch Black Angus Ground Beef - only available at the Bright Leaf Country Store (2999 S Brightleaf Blvd. Smithfield, North Carolina)
  • (1) Can of Kidney Beans
  • (2) Cans of Crushed Tomatoes
  • (2) Cans of Diced Tomatoes
  • (2) Cans of Navy Beans
  • (1) Can of Black Beans
  • (2) Green Peppers
  • (1) One Sweet Onion
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Saltine Crackers
  • 1 Tbsp. of Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. of Chili Powder
  • 2 Tbsp. of Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. of Ground Cumin

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Dice an onion, peppers, and Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage.
  2. In a pan, sauté the onions and peppers with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper on medium heat until tender and slightly charred.
  3. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in a separate pan on medium heat, cooking it to a safe temperature of 160 degrees F.
  4. In a large pot, add all the ingredients (beans, tomatoes, and spices) and stir together.
  5. Once the ground beef, onions, and peppers are cooked, add them to the pot.
  6. Fry the smoked sausage in a pan with a drizzle of oil, then add it to the chili.
  7. Stir everything together and cook on a low simmer for up to two hours.
