Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage is one of our best-kept secrets. It's all pork, natural casing, and smoked with real hickory wood. It's good with everything, and we want to share this Southern secret with everyone. So we made an affordable, delicious dinner dish with green beans and potatoes. Your family will love this!

Ingredients:

  • (1) 12 oz. Pack of Bright Leaf Smoked Sausage (100% pork, natural casing and smoked with real hickory wood)
  • (1 or 2) Pack of Boiled Potatoes
  • (1 or 2) Bag of Frozen Green Beans

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Carefully add the green beans and cook them according to the guidelines provided or until they reach your preferred level of tenderness. Once done, drain the water and set the beans aside.
  2. Open the package containing the smoked sausage. Cut the sausage into bite-sized pieces. Next, lightly coat the bottom of a pan with cooking oil. Heat the pan over medium heat, then add the diced sausage. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pieces are nicely browned and cooked to your satisfaction.
  3. Follow the cooking instructions provided on the potatoes' packaging. Quick-cooking varieties like those from The Little Potato Company may take approximately 5 minutes. Adjust the cooking time as needed based on the type of potatoes you're using.
  4. Combine the cooked green beans, browned smoked sausage, and potatoes in a large bowl. Toss gently to mix everything evenly.
  5. Serve the dish immediately while it's warm. This hearty and flavorful medley will surely be a hit with your loved ones.
